LAGES joins Education Week Festival

"Edukasyon: Tungo sa Tapat na Pagbabago at Pag-unlad"
The Leon A. Garcia Sr. Elementary School gave importance to education by celebrating the Education Week Festival. The school prepared different activities for the one-week celebration. This include 3-days Bazaar at the gym, poster-making contest, film viewing on climate change and a culminating program.
It was a fun-filled moments, not only for the pupils but for the parents as well. This was because during the Bazaar, parents came to school and they were surprised to see how their children worked hard in selling their items (mostly Ukay-ukay). One parent even commented "mas hawod pa mamaligya ako anak ma'am." (My kid is more expert in selling than I do, Ma'am) with a giggle.
Parents realized that their children could support education in a simple ways, thus there could be no reason why they can't. And This can be done by attending like PTA meetings and the whole-year Brigada Eskwela.
The proceeds of the Bazaar will be used for the respective classroom party.
The activity ended with a culminating program wherein pupils showed their abilities and skills
