If summer is about to end, Brigada Eskwela knocks
in every door.
May 20-24, 2013- its a week long annual repair and maintenance of Department of Education. And the Leon A. Garcia Sr. Elementary School enthusiastically participated in the said activity. On the first day, bunch of parents came and rendered their service by cleaning the surroundings of the school. They pulled the weeds and fixed school furniture. Some parents painted the classrooms. Others extended donations such as paints and food. The NCCC Mall also donated 8 gallons of paint and four paint brush. While doing all the cleaning and repair, you would see everybody was smiling in spite of the extreme heat of the sun. It was a sign of their unselfish support to the school. Truly, at Leon, the spirit of volunteerism lives on!
